Yukitouro is a snow candle event held at Jozankei Shrine. It was started in 2011 to "bring together all the snow candles" that had been decorated by hotels and inns as a gesture of hospitality. The sight of 1,000 handmade snow candles decorating the grounds of a hot spring resort is a fantastic winter event that attracts many repeat visitors. If you are able to take the best shot of your visit to Sapporo, please enter the photo and video contest for a chance to win a pair of accommodation tickets. During the event, from 18:00 to 21:00, a free shuttle bus will be available between Jozankei Onsen Town and the shrine at intervals of about 30 minutes.
