The Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau Asahikawa Development and Construction Department held a "Dohoku Regional Development Workshop" as a joint effort between the public and private sectors to achieve the goals of the "9th Hokkaido Comprehensive Development Plan (Cabinet decision, March 1994)". As a result, we received proposals for an action plan filled with ideas for highlighting the attractions of the Dohoku region and resolving issues.
To present the results of the workshop and to kick off preparations for the next fiscal year and beyond, we will be holding a symposium as detailed below.
