Price: 900 yen for adults / 450 yen for children (elementary school students)
For sale: fishing rod 1,000 yen / tackle 400 yen / bait 300 yen
Rental: Rod and tackle 600 yen
*Hole drills are available for free rental.
Overview
Lake Abashiri boasts the largest smelt catch in Hokkaido, and is also famous as a producer of smelt that are released into lakes all over the country. Drill a hole in the frozen lake surface, drop a line and fish for them. We also rent rods and tackle, so anyone can easily do it, so please feel free to come and visit us. You can enjoy the smelt you catch as tempura or fried food.
*Please note that we do not provide rental tents, chairs, or tempura sets. Please bring your own.
