There are plenty of events to enjoy the winter, including activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snow rafting, as well as nature experience events and snow play areas. This is the peak season for drift ice tourism in Monbetsu. If you're lucky, you may be able to catch a glimpse of the drift ice rolling in along the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk.

■Snow rafting and banana boating
・Banana boat = 3 people / Rafting = 5 people (up to 3 people over high school age, total weight 300kg or less)
・Dates and times: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the period *Closed on the 25th (Sat) and 26th (Sun) Reception hours: 10:00-15:00
・Fee: For both adults and children, the "Short Course" (approximately 1 km, starting from the Aozora Communication Center and turning around the Wildflower Square) is 500 yen, the "Drift Ice Course" (approximately 3 km, long course starting from the Aozora Communication Center and going around the Harappa Hills) is 1,000 yen,
*Children in the lower grades of elementary school or younger must ride with a parent or guardian. *The speed will be reduced if preschool children are riding.
・We will guide you in the order of reception.
・Advance reservations are not accepted.

■Cross-street skiing and snowshoeing
・Date and time: 10:00-15:00 during the event period
・Fee: Free
・Sizes: Adult and junior sizes (no infant sizes) *You can bring your own. Please make sure to write your name on the user list.

■Snow Play Area
・Date and time: 9:00-16:00 during the event period
Venue: Green Stage next to Aozora Community Center
We will open an area at the Aozora Community Center where you can enjoy winter Monbetsu to the fullest, such as making bobsleds and snowmen. We also have sleds and snowball-making machines available for rental. (You can bring your own equipment.)
