How can we "coexist" with wild animals? In order to explore this question, we aim to provide an opportunity to reexamine what "coexistence" actually means. The lecture will look back on the history of the relationship between humans and wild animals in Hokkaido, and in the panel discussion, we will invite experts involved in wildlife management to discuss the form of "coexistence" between humans and wild animals in the present day from various perspectives.
