Overview

This is the village's biggest event, held on the third Sunday of July, attracting many people from all over Hokkaido, including those from within the village. This event, which is held every year at Sarufutsu Park, features a variety of events, including a song show, fireworks, a beer garden, and a fish-catching event, and heats up the short summer in Kitahama.

Another highlight of the event is the sale of fresh and delicious local produce. Many people come just for this, and you can enjoy a wide selection of local specialties such as scallops and hairy crabs, leaving you completely satisfied.
