The 6 Pacific League teams (Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, Saitama Seibu Lions, Chiba Lotte Marines, ORIX Buffaloes, Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks) and Pacific League Marketing Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Hitoshi Arai) have teamed up with Pokémon for the "Pokémon Baseball Festa 2026 ~Putting 30 Years of Memories into the Ball~" to hold special Pokémon-themed games.

This year marks 30 years since the release of "Pokémon Red and Green". As a special project for Pokémon's 30th anniversary, the 12 professional baseball teams and Pokémon will team up to hold special Pokémon-themed games at each stadium, sell original merchandise featuring Pikachu dressed in team uniforms and each team's partner Pokémon, and hold special "Pokémon GO" events. Pikachu is also scheduled to visit each stadium for the special games.
