It is held every July at Hokuseiyama in Nakafurano Town, where lavender spreads across a small hill. It is one of the fireworks festivals representing the Furano area, attracting about 10,000 visitors every year. About 7,000 fireworks are launched, and you can enjoy the fireworks from surprisingly close range if you watch them from the top of a nearby hill. Various food stalls and events are also held.
