Overview

This popular cherry blossom spot is visited by many people from all over the country every year. The width of the trees on both sides is twenty ken (about 36m), so the cherry blossom-lined road, called Nijukken Road, stretches for about 7km in a straight line, and looks like a tunnel of cherry blossoms dyed pink all over. The magnificent cherry blossoms have been selected as one of the "100 Best Roads in Japan," "100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots," and "Hokkaido Heritage."

During the event, there will be a variety of stalls and events.
