Overview

The Kuriyama Old Establishment Festival has become established as the earliest spring festival in Hokkaido. Kobayashi Sake Brewery, founded in 1878, has its Kita no Nishiki Sake Brewery Festival, which offers tours of the brewery and sales of limited edition sake. Tanida Seika, established in 1913 and famous for its Tanida's No. 1 Kibi Dango, has its Kibi Dango Festival, where you can see the manufacturing process of kibi dango, which is made with natural ingredients, and purchase the dango.

There will also be a "Hometown Countryside Festival" featuring popular restaurants from one neighboring city and four towns.
