Overview

The Port Festival, which was held in 1948 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of Kushiro Port, continues to this day. Various events are held, including the "Tairyo Bayashi Parade" and the "Music Parade." The Port Festival, which unfolds over three days, is a major event that colors the summer in Kushiro.
