Overview

The Okurayama Observatory Lift will be open at night from July 1st (Tue) to September 30th (Tue). This year, the Observation Lounge Cafe Celeste will also be open at night, so during this period, you can enjoy the unique view of Sapporo's nightscape and the view from the ski jump with a popular soft serve ice cream in hand.
This year, we will also be holding the "Okurayama Observatory Special Area Invitation Campaign: A Special Night View in a Special Place," in which we will be inviting one group per day, for a total of eight groups, to the special area (starting gate) which is normally off-limits to the public for free. In addition, various places within the site will be lit up with Japanese umbrellas and lanterns in an event called "An Evening of Gentle Lights and Japanese Umbrellas."
Please take this opportunity to take advantage of the improved nighttime operation of the Okurayama Observatory lift from last year.
