Donq Co., Ltd., a long-established Kobe-based bakery celebrating its 120th anniversary this year, has consistently committed to using scratch-made methods in which artisans prepare dough from flour and bake it. The company will be selling its annual summer limited-edition product, "Chilled Melon," at a total of 140 stores nationwide across four brands, including its flagship brand, Donq, from Saturday, May 24th to Sunday, August 31st, 2025.
"Chilled Melon" is a cool bread filled with cold cream, perfect for summer.
It is a sweet treat. Since its launch in 2010, it has been well received by many customers every year. The cream is light and melts easily in the mouth, and is rich yet light in texture. This year, we will sell a total of four types, including the "Milk Tea" which was first introduced in 2022 and has been well received, with a mellow milk and black tea aroma.
