Overview

In the center of Obihiro city, a pedestrian precinct opens every Sunday for about three months in the summer. Obihiro Hokoten is a citizen-run downtown revitalization initiative that has been ongoing since 2006 with the aim of "creating interaction and activity in the city center." Every Sunday in the summer, Obihiro city center becomes a pedestrian precinct, opening the roads to a place for people to interact and promote various activities, and promoting the charm of Obihiro city center with many participatory events and stalls.

・Minami 8-chome Line: From Hirokoji 1-2 to the south side of the former Fujimaru
