Overview
The Wakkanai Minato Antarctic Festival is a major event that colors the short summer of the northernmost city. Two dances, the Hokkai Teppen Odori and the Antarctic Odori, a huge fireworks display with 2,500 shots, a tourism and product festival, and a festival of performers are scheduled.
