With the theme of "Performing Arts and Food," we will hold a cultural exchange with the folk song "Esashi Oiwake," which originated in Esashi Town, Hokkaido. There is a cultural connection between the two, as seen in the use of Ainu patterns on the costumes of the Esashi Oiwake dance. Through this event, we aim to delve deeper into the appeal of local performing arts and to provide an opportunity to think anew about a society in which different cultures are respected and coexist.

■On the 12th we will delve deeper into Esashi Oiwake!
・Esashi Oiwake - Song of Crossing the Sea -
This special stage will feature Kazumi Kimura, who has won numerous awards at home and abroad, including the 29th Esashi Oiwake National Championships. There will also be a collaboration with the dance of the Upopoy staff.
・Digging deeper!! Learn about Esashi Oiwake
This is a workshop where visitors can try their hand at Esashi Oiwake, which is considered to be the most difficult of all folk songs.
・Delicious herring Sanpei soup is delicious!
We will be providing 300 servings of herring sanpei soup, a dish popular in the coastal areas of Hokkaido.

■ On the 13th, we will be digging deeper into Ainu culture! : Ainu traditional dance performance
The Akan Ainu Cultural Preservation Society and the Obihiro Kamui To Upopo Preservation Society will be performing arts. The 10:00 show will be "Haru Run Na!" There will also be an event where rice cakes and sweets are thrown at Ainu festivals.
Eh yan! Eh yan! (Eat! Eat!)
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the restaurant's opening, 500 servings of Chep Ohau (fish soup) will be served.

Visitors can learn about the connection between Esashi Oiwake and Ainu culture and also take part in the dance.
