This year marks the 43rd Iwamizawa Hyakumochi Festival. It is Iwamizawa's largest festival, dedicated to Iwamizawa's specialty rice (glutinous rice). Don't miss the impressive mochi pounding, which uses one of the world's largest mortars, measuring 2.2 meters in diameter and weighing 5.5 tons. 1,200 servings of freshly pounded mochi will be served to visitors as sweet red bean soup.

There will be many delicious food stalls and food trucks, so people of all ages can enjoy watching, eating, and experiencing the festival.

・Omoroshi mochi pounding from 14:30 and 18:00
・From 19:40: Throwing of 100 longevity mochi
Other events include the portable shrine procession and Kiyari festival, and the 4th Street Kitchen Car Marche.

・Omoroshi mochi pounding from 10:00, 14:00, 16:30

・12:00~, 13:00~ Children's 100-mortar rice cake pounding

Other events include the 4th Street Kitchen Car Marche, Dance Dance Dance, Japanese drum performances, and JR Healthy Walking.
