This 'Hokkai Bon Odori,' which is widely popular as Hokkaido's Bon Odori, has been held since the 1st Sapporo Summer Festival in 1954 (the 29th year of the Showa era). Nowadays, the number of tourists from overseas has also increased, and it is bustling as a richly international Bon Odori.
