Fresh autumn salmon and other agricultural, fishery and livestock products that Hamamasu is proud of are all gathered and sold. Every year, events are held that both adults and children can enjoy, such as sales of gourmet food made with local products, performances of local performing arts, "Okiage Ondo" (Okiage Ondo), which recreates the herring fishing of the past performed by elementary school students, a bingo tournament, and rice cake throwing with prizes.
