The "Hakodate New Fireworks" will be held to close out the summer in Hakodate. Approximately 3,300 fireworks will be launched. The fireworks, set off from a green island floating in the sea, will create a fantastical sight when combined with the night view of the port town. The venue will also feature stage events and food and drink booths, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the day. Tickets for the event will be sold for special unreserved seating, limited to 2,100 people, with some same-day tickets also available.
