Overview

LIGHTPIA SAPPORO will be a new event where you can enjoy the night view of Sapporo. Sapporo is one of Japan's leading cities for night views. This new event will be held at the Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, popular for its expansive panoramic view from the summit, where you can enjoy a variety of events, including barbecues, beer, and other meals, as well as student performances such as dance recitals and live jazz. In addition to enjoying a BBQ while watching the night view, brass band and jazz performances, and special guides, the event will also feature a spectacular night jump by jumpers on the 20th (Sat) and 21st (Sun), making it a three-day event packed with a variety of attractions.

■Event details
1. Light Pier Terrace: Enjoy a BBQ with the night view from the rooftop terrace of the Olympic Museum! *BBQ ticket purchase required.
② Observation Lounge: Approximately 5 minutes by lift. Enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of Sapporo city and the Ishikari Plain beyond the ski jump! *If you are unable to make sound judgments due to alcohol, you may be refused entry to the lift.
3. Night Jump: Ski jumpers will perform a full-scale demonstration jump! *Scheduled for September 20th (Sat) and 21st (Sun) from 9:45. The event may be canceled due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds.

■Stage Event
④Dance & Playing: Don't miss the dancing and playing (Dance & Playing) by Sapporo International and Information High School, which combines dance and brass band music!

⑤ Live Jazz: Enjoy the performance of musicians associated with Sapporo City Jazz while taking in the night view!

■Other
⑥ Gourmet Corner: A variety of food trucks will be set up! A wide variety of drinks and food will be available!
⑦Special Guide: A tour with a special commentary by Director Abe will be held! Friday, September 19th, from 7:00 PM. *Participation is free, but advance registration is required (first 30 people).
