Overview
The Okoppe Milk Village Marathon is the largest marathon in Okoppe Town, held every year on the first Sunday of October. Approximately 500 runners, from children to the elderly, participate in this uniquely named marathon, enjoying the run at their own pace while taking in the views of the farmland. There are 3-kilometer, 5-kilometer, 10-kilometer, and half-marathon courses, so you can choose a course that suits your physical ability.
The venue is lined with food stalls and shops selling local specialties, adding to the excitement of the event. At the social gathering, there is also a raffle where you can win local seafood, sausage assortments, famous sweets, and other Okoppe Town specialties, so you can enjoy yourself until the very end.
