Chishibetsu Station on the JR Rumoi Main Line, which will close on March 31, 2026, will be decorated with pumpkins and other Halloween decorations. There will be a variety of stalls offering everything from pumpkin-related workshops and food trucks to local vegetable and railway goods. Stage events will also include rice cake throwing and brass band performances. Chishibetsu Town's PR mascot, "Chibel-kun," will also be there to see the JR train off.
