"Horse culture" is a historic culture that has been registered as a Hokkaido Heritage Site. Horses have played a major role in Hokkaido from its development to the present day, and have walked together through history. Nowadays, horses are strongly associated with horse racing and riding, but the strength of horses to slowly pull heavy loads and the power of draft horses is beyond imagination.

Horses as large as statues pull sleds loaded with weights, overcoming two obstacles (mountains) and heading for the finish line. We ask for lots of cheering from the sides of the course at the venue. There will also be opportunities to interact with the horses and horse-drawn carriage rides, making it a fun event for families. Most areas of the venue are grassy, so you can have a picnic.
