With this year, welcoming the 24th time's implementation, the Obihiro Illumination Project will light up the lights as an event that produces color and splendor in the long, harsh winter's town and warmly welcomes people who visit. It will beautifully decorate Obihiro Station North Traffic Plaza's symbol tree "Harunire Tree (Tree of Peace)" and 7 street trees with approximately 43,000 LED light bulbs.

The Obihiro Illumination Project is being implemented with sponsorship money from companies and "Tentou Donation" from everyone.
