There will be a variety of events, including discount sales of Kikonai Town's specialty "Hakodate Wagyu beef," sales of sister city Tsuruoka City's specialty "Shonai persimmons," fish scooping, new rice scooping, and a hijiki keema curry eating contest. In addition, Kikonai Town's agricultural, forestry, and fisheries businesses will come together to offer fresh seafood, mountain produce, and other local specialties at low prices.

A free shuttle bus will run between the Shinkansen Kikonai Station North Exit Parking Lot and the venue approximately every 10 minutes. There will also be a free shuttle bus that runs to Kikonai Town's Kamaya and Tsuruoka areas.
