The Otaki International Ski Marathon is held in early February every year on a permanent course around Otaki Comprehensive Athletic Park in Otaki Ward, Date City, with the aim of promoting health through cross-country skiing (walking skiing), as well as raising awareness of the beauty and majesty of the natural beauty of Otaki Ward, including the glittering silver-white peaks of Mt. Tokushunbetsu and Mt. Horohoro, and the murmuring of the Osaru River.

■Cross-skiing: 7 kilometers / 5 kilometers / 3 kilometers
Fee
Ski Marathon: 2,500 yen
Walking skiing: 1,000 yen for junior high school students and above / 500 yen for elementary school students and below
