This year's Asahikawa Winter Festival will feature the "67th Asahikawa Winter Festival 2026 - Play with Vulpix and Friends," where Alolan Vulpix and Vulpix, Hokkaido's "favorite Pokémon" and members of the Hokkaido Daisuki Discovery Squad, will make an appearance. Other planned events include large snow sculptures, greetings, a giant snow maze, a stage, a winter market, and more.
