The 'Shumarinight Ice Fishing' event, which was held on a trial basis in 2025, was very well received for its special experience of 'enjoying nighttime wakasagi fishing, which is not usually possible, while watching fireworks from the frozen lake.'
In response to this feedback, the event will be officially launched in 2026 under the name 'Shumarinight'.

In the future, we plan to continue this event annually as a valuable winter event for Lake Shumarinai, and develop it into an event that is rooted in the local community.
Anyone is welcome to join, whether you want to try wakasagi fishing, enjoy gourmet food at a leisurely pace on the lake, or watch the fireworks.
