The 'Niseko Film Festival' will be held again this spring. The venue is the Park Hyatt Niseko HANAZONO Event Village. A selection of exquisite short films shot in Hokkaido will be screened for one night only. Highlights include a total prize money of 500,000 yen, and for attendees, luxurious raffle prizes such as a Park Hyatt Niseko accommodation voucher and a Gentemstick snowboard are also available.

This festival has established itself as a regular event that colors the spring in Niseko. Through film screenings, award announcements, and a celebration party, video creators, the local community, and visitors from both Japan and abroad will gather together. It also contributes to the development of Niseko's culture scene, providing a valuable stage for independent filmmakers to showcase their work to both live and online audiences.


Born as part of the Niseko Shootout's photo & film series, this festival has now grown into a cultural event representing the region. It is held at the Park Hyatt Niseko HANAZONO as a spring celebration where film, adventure, and community merge.

In 2026, Powderlife and Rhythm Japan will participate as partners. It aims to further evolve as an event symbolizing Niseko's spring and enhance its appeal as a year-round destination.
