In the Shigeyama Sengoro family, active in Kyoto, the phrase 'Kyogen performers like tofu' has been passed down. 'Tofu Kyogen' is deeply flavorful, widely loved, and never gets old, no matter the era. Based on this spirit, the word 'Warai' embodies the desire not just for 'laughter,' but for the audience to feel a 'peaceful and harmonious feeling.'
This time, we will perform the lively and humorous Kyogen plays 'Futari Bakama' and 'Suo Otoshi'.
