2026/5/16~17

In recent years, on Honshu, trees such as cherry and plum have been suffering serious damage from the specified invasive alien species, the Red-necked Longhorn Beetle (Kubiakatsuyakamikiri). In Hokkaido, where the invasive alien longhorn beetle has not yet been confirmed, vigilance and early detection are important.
At this event, we will introduce the ecology of the invasive alien longhorn beetle and what we can do, using a trunk kit (puzzles, boards, playing cards, specimens, enlarged models) and more.
