Overview

An illumination lighting ceremony for 'Hiroo Santaland,' which was certified by the city of Oslo, Norway, as the first Santaland outside the country. It is held every year on the fourth Saturday of October at Daimaruyama Shinrin Koen, the sacred place of Hiroo Santaland. With the signal to turn on, approximately 150,000 illumination lights and about 10,000 wood lanterns on the park's roadside trees and other areas will light up, enveloping the area in fantastical light and creating a complete Christmas atmosphere.

There will also be early Christmas presents for children of elementary school age and younger. At the end, a fireworks display will be held.
