In the windbreak forest northeast of Miyajima-numa, a large colony of Zenteika, which can no longer be seen anywhere else in the plains of the Ishikari River basin, spreads out, and it has become a precious asset that preserves the original landscape of the region to this day. However, due to the ongoing renewal work on the windbreak forest, there are concerns about effects such as advancing desiccation and the proliferation of invasive plant species. Therefore, in order to preserve the windbreak forest where the Zenteika bloom in full glory for future generations, we will carry out forest conservation activities such as the removal of invasive plant species.
