The island of Borneo is the homeland of the Bornean orangutans kept at Asahiyama Zoo. This is an event where you can learn about Bornean elephants and the island of Borneo by connecting local children from the island of Borneo (Sabah, Malaysia) with three zoos in Japan (this year, Chiba Zoological Park (Chiba) and Fukuoka Municipal Zoo (Fukuoka)). You can also learn from board games about the current state of the forest and from footage of wild Bornean elephants.
