Yoshiro Osaka

Born in Makubetsu Town. He lived in his hometown, rich in nature and the four seasons, until the age of 18, when he moved to the United States. He studied filmmaking at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, where he earned a B.A. degree. After returning to Japan, he has been based in Tokyo and Hokkaido. In 2022, he moved to Obihiro City to make films based in his hometown of Tokachi, and in 2023, he began production on a new film, “Bride with a Horse-drawn Sled. In 2023, he will begin production of a new film, “Bride with Horse-drawn Carriages. He is a tourism ambassador of Tokachi. He is also an ambassador for MAKUBETSU Town.
