Japan's largest ice tunnel
Overview
The "Ice Tunnel" is located at the foot of Mount Wenshiri.
There are ice tunnels in other regions as well, but it is said that this is one of the few in Japan where you can drive right up to the ice tunnel.
Business Hours
A one-day-only release event is held on the last Sunday of July every year under the auspices of the Youth Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

100 meters to the Ice Tunnel (Shuttle bus will pick you up from Uensiri Campsite during the one-day release event).
