The forest art museum "Kisumu" is located in Nishiokoppe Village, a small orange village in the Okhotsk area, which is blessed with natural scenery in the eastern part of Hokkaido.
With an area almost as large as the base of the Sky Tree, "Kisumu" offers excitement and fun in seven rooms, including a 140,000-tree sandbox, a 14-meter-high slide, a toy theater, and more. The floor heating system keeps the children warm even in winter.
Children and adults alike can enjoy playing on the woodworking equipment, viewing wooden artworks and toy theater, and participating in events and woodworking classes.
