Founded in 1469. This Soto Zen temple was moved from Okushiri. The temple gate is the oldest in Hokkaido, and in the precincts is the tomb of Haikyo Kakisaki, a retainer of the Matsumae domain and a painter. (The gate is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property.)
