Naoki Uemura Memorial Museum (Ice and Snow House)
Opened in 1985. In a semi-circular dome shaped like an igloo, the museum exhibits the adventures of the late Naoki Uemura, a mountaineer who disappeared in McKinley, as well as items related to him.

●Obihiro Station 10 min. by car or approx. 30 min. on foot from Obihiro Sta.
●Bus:
1)Take the Tokachi Bus bound for "Ozora Danchi" (20 min.), get off at "Zoo-mae" bus stop, and walk about 2 min.
(2) Take Takushoku Bus bound for "Minami Commercial High School Line, Obihiro no Mori" (15 min.), get off at Midorigaoka 6-chome (entrance of the museum), and walk about 5 minutes.
