We offer various outdoor programs at Lake Shikaribetsu. Please, by all means, participate with your family and friends. *We also accommodate school trips.

●Canadian Canoe
In the morning mist of early morning, if you gently put your paddle into the lake surface and slowly paddle out, a scenery just like another world will spread out there. Various wild animals and wild birds inhabit Lake Shikaribetsu. Even beginners can enjoy nature watching by canoe if they receive a lecture.

●Air Trip
It is a thrilling activity where you move through the forest like a bird by wearing a harness on a mountain climbing rope. By looking around with the same line of sight as the animals living in the trees of the forest, there are unprecedented discoveries and deep emotions. Please enjoy an aerial walk in the forest.

●River Watching
We observe the fish in the clear stream flowing into Lake Shikaribetsu with specially made underwater glasses. A surprising number of fish inhabit the flowing water. Among them, you can see rainbow trout that have grown to about 60cm, cherry salmon shining in silver, and beautiful Miyabe char.
