Shin Totsukawa Monogatari Memorial Museum
The Shin Totsukawa Monogatari Memorial Museum was built to convey the spirit of "Shin Totsukawa Monogatari" (original story by Takashi Kawamura), a literary work depicting the love of hometown and love of humanity of people who decided to leave their hometown Totsukawa and move to the northern land.
The exterior of the museum is modeled after the Bunbu-kan building that stood in the center of the town at the time of pioneering development. The museum's "Shin Totsukawa Monogatari" exhibition corner, which features photo panels from the NHK TV drama and items related to the author, further expands the world of the tale.
