Overview

"Sorachi Wine x Wine Festa" is an event where Sorachi wines are gathered together and you can enjoy the pairing with food, including Takikawa. Sorachi Prefecture, located in the center of Hokkaido, is home to many wonderful wineries and vineyards, and as the area is gaining attention in Hokkaido, efforts are being started to promote wine produced in the prefecture as a tourist resource.

In Takikawa City, there are many restaurants that serve delicious dishes that go well with Sorachi wine. In addition to its high reputation, the city saw its first long-awaited shipment of wine made from grapes grown in Takikawa in 2019, and a brewing facility is scheduled to open in 2023, raising expectations and momentum.
