Kitaguni Museum
The Kitaguni Museum was built on a hilltop on the south side of Nayoro Park overlooking the city of Nayoro, surrounded by a virgin forest of Quercus serrata that has watched over Nayoro's nature and people's lives through many windy and snowy seasons. It is also the site of the former Nayoro Main Line, where the SL snow removal train "Kimaroki" was active, carrying the history of the development of northern Hokkaido together with many predecessors and protecting the railway in winter.
