A view spot overlooking Naganuma Town. Motoko Tsujimura's full-length novel "Umaoi Harano" depicts Naganuma in the early pioneer days. A monument was erected to commemorate the receipt of the first Higuchi Ichiyo Award. This is a representative view spot of Naganuma. It offers a panoramic view of Naganuma Town and the Ishikari Plain.
