Oniushi Park
This is a vast urban park named after the Ainu word "oniushi," which is also the origin of the town's name. The park is located along the national highway, making it an ideal rest stop for drivers. From the attached roadside station "YOU・Yu・Mori", visitors can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of the entire park centering on the fountain monument, Mt. The park also has a unique playground, a grassy lawn, and approximately 500 cherry trees that delight the eyes of visitors during the flowering season.
Visitors can see not only Eruption Bay, but also Mt. Yotei and Mt. Usu from the observation product center plaza located within the park.
