Cape Kamui, Kamui Iwa

The tip of Cape Kamui, which juts dynamically out into the open sea, is about 770 meters from the women-only gate, and a 20-minute walk along the Chalenka Trail, which offers magnificent views of the Japan Sea on both sides, will take you to a rounded horizon with a circumference of 300 degrees. Here, too, the Ezo Kanzo in early summer is magnificent.

There is a gate at the entrance to Cape Kamui, which opens and closes at different times depending on the season. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the end of the trail and back, so please be aware of the closing time of the gate. Please note that the opening and closing times of the women's gate and the entrance gate are subject to change depending on weather conditions (rain and wind).
