SPOT
Shinsui Park
Adjacent to Minamihoro Hot Springs, the park has a recreational pond that tells the story of the town's flood control history and is famous as a good spot for fishing for spoonbills in summer and for wakasagi (smelt) in winter in the suburbs of Sapporo. The park is also famous for its 21-meter-high observatory, "Fuki no To", from which visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of the countryside.
