Asahigaoka Park
A scenic spot selected as one of the 100 Landscapes of Japan in 1950. From the summit, you can enjoy views of the Furano Basin and the Tokachi Mountain Range, and in spring, you can enjoy 3,000 cherry blossom trees. It is affectionately known as 'Namako-yama' (Sea Cucumber Mountain) by local residents. The adjacent Asahigaoka Comprehensive Urban Park is equipped with a park golf course and athletic facilities.
