SPOT
This scenic spot was selected as one of Japan's 100 most scenic spots in 1950. From the summit, you can see the Furano Basin and the Tokachi mountain range, and in spring you can enjoy 3,000 cherry blossom trees. It is affectionately known as "Namakoyama" by local residents. Asahigaoka Comprehensive Park is adjacent, and has a park golf course and athletic facilities.
