Viva Alpaca Farm

An alpaca farm where you can experience nature throughout the four seasons.
It is an environment where you can stroll along the path leading to the mountaintop and enjoy the view from the summit.
The slopes are filled with clover and flowers, which alpacas love.
In winter, you can enjoy observing frost-covered trees and powder snow on a dedicated slope for airboarding.
Both adults and children can have fun.
Products made from alpaca wool are sold year-round.
A coffee shop is also open on Saturdays and Sundays only.

Alpacas are animals of the camel family that inhabit the highland regions of Peru, South America, at altitudes of 3,500 meters or more.
They are raised for their wool.
Basically, they are shorn once a year.
They only have teeth on the bottom jaw and prefer to eat grass and moss.
The alpacas at Viva Alpaca Farm came to Kenbuchi from Peru via Nasu Big Farm.
They are resistant to the cold and love the snow in Kenbuchi.
Their lifespan is said to be about 15 to 20 years.
